That book was probably one of the best and most artistic books of all time. I cant wait for the movie.
i saw this movie trailer at the theaters and my little brother got so scared at the… monsters.
If you look at the Aug 24th New Yorker, they have a short story, which is probably the beginning of the film. The story they added on is quite engaging.
there is too much hype surrounding this book and movie .. i read the book but don’t see why people like it so much

If you filmed the book properly, you’ll only get a 7 minute movie. So they have to add tons of back story and things not in the book to make it into a 60+ minute movie. Just like they did for all the Dr Seuss books too.

Wow, when I saw the first 30 seconds I was thought it was fake, I assumed the wild things would be all CGI, I’m glad to see that these movie makers understand that bad CGI isn’t better then real costumes.
I was so ecstatic when I saw the preview for this in the theather! It is about time they made a movie out of this classic book! It looks impecibly done, just like the pictures depict of the wild things…will definitely go see!!!!
