If you look at footage from the conventions you see the lobbies and there is no option to customize character. The characters are based on class and military, just like in COD4. I was disappointed, but then I remembered all the rainbow clown characters in Vegas and Vegas 2, and I kinda like the idea. Although customizing your vest, plate carrier, leg rig, helmet, and a few other things with only a couple of color options would work fine. It was just the beta, though. Perhaps there is hope…

I heard there was going to be character customization. I want my character to be green as moss and have brown specs or a dark brown with beige on it to make my guy look like a turd lol.

cod is owned by activision, the oublisher. activision has two developers for cod treyarch and infinity ward. treyarch made cod 3 and cod5 basically the not so good ones. infinity ward made cod1 cod2 and cod4. It has the right to make a game called MW2 as long as it doesnt have cod6 in front of it

I think they worked out a deal because if MW2 didn’t say “Call of Duty”, they’d lose a lot of businesss from previous Call of Duty owners..
