Proof? What tests? Not a single shred of evidence apart from “we didn’t feel good”, after they got back to NZ. Next time cut the meat a little smaller and you won’t feel a choking sensation.

mate, they got food poisoned. its true but its also history, cant you read between the lines? they really wanted that world cup and they were going to do anything to get it. everyperson who ate at the hotel the night before the final became very ill only josh kronfeld didnt because he ate somewhere else… u can say what u like about NZ but you dont know anything about this place, its not like we walk around everyday cursing SA, we got over it and moved on, the only people we blame are ourselves

and where’s your proof goatie???its one thing to say its been proven and quite another to actually prove it.

  4. goatieman21 November 10, 2009 7:03 pm

the NZ players being poisoned was not a rumour, it’s a proven fact. It’s not a matter of belief, it’s whether it happened or not and tests show it did

About time rugby got hollywood recgonition, its a real mans sport, and about time it got the hollywood treatment, most other sports already have.

  6. stephensgreg November 10, 2009 7:03 pm

Probably not SpruceGooseNz. Probably because no one outside NZ ever believed it happened. They fielded their first 15 and made no mention of it before or after the game till they had to face the public in NZ. Just another world cup excuse to go with the rest of them.

Rugby has always been a serious sport in America. All the college rugby teams have been around for awhile. It’s the otherway around, American Football has never been accepted internationally.
