As I mentioned before…….. cinematic experience.
All those you mentioned above are movie based. If they ever gonna create a working MW2, there should be a decent movie to watch first.

Imo Cod4 seems to try tell a new story instead of just repeating the same story over and over again but from different angles yes the levels are a much less linear and there a a few graphic enhancements here and there but overall thats what you would expect from a game that was in development a bit longer than cod4 wouldn’t you think?

If i got to work with COD, i would make this:
Americans Levels-
- Pearl habor (one of the surviving guys to fly a plane)Guam, Saipan, Tinian, Iwo Jima (flag raising), Hiroshima nuclear bomb dropping.
Japanese Levels- Pearl Habor in the plane
Naval battles. Iwo jima (japan side) Guam (Japan side), Hiroshima after affects.
and maybe have a level that shows you as a navajo translator in guam or something : )
the game would be based on flags of our father/letters of iwo and the book code talkers : )

IMHO everything u mentioned isnt bad. It retells the story from the PAST its based on something, COD4 isnt, its just similar to war now which isnt fun, it may be fun it 20 years when the war is done. it has replay value, u get to find death cards and theres so many ways of doing a level, cod4 u have to do the same thing. The graphics are way better when u are about to get stabbed by a jpn. and then u swat away the bayonet and stab them urself that is awesome, cod4 losses those little aspects.

IMHO,
this game relies on the old working formula of shoot em up with a story.
but to make it a different entity, they use the old authentic (but it’s boring) booby trapping, rabbit hole, play dead /possum, etc etc.
The cinematic experience of the previous CODs…… is however lost. Almost all CODs are based on an actual hit movies at the time, this one… is confusing.
Very bad replay value and I’m not much of an MP gamer (cause I’ve work to do). But there’s tank and hellcat missions

when they made cod4 it wasnt just infinity ward…but the other people split up and made this one…its why it has a different feel to it….and thats also why infinity ward has made modern warfare 2 KICKASS
