easily my favorite of ‘09.
I loved that there were some literal ‘Laugh Out Loud’ moments….hell I had tears running down my face from laughing at the stroller scene.

I saw a MUCH longer trailer for this film at a screening of SIN NOMBRE last year. Haven’t had luck finding it, but was around4 mins in length. Anyone know what I’m talking about? It had parts of the strip club Montreal scene in it.

“hand drawn graphics” doesn’t mean the movie is ‘like Juno.’ Besides, I saw the music last night, and there aren’t any of those graphics in the movie at all. The only thing it has in common with Juno is that there is a pregnant woman.
As far as ‘alternative’ music, Alexi Murdoch did pretty much the whole soundtrack, and he’s not really very alternative. He’s been around for years, and is pretty popular in the mainstream.

I saw this movie last night, and it’s nothing like Juno. It was one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time though. I highly, highly recommend it.
