Humiliation of CGI are you retarded. The movie is meant to be a 3d release. Watch it in IMAX 3D and then talk about it.

  4. TheyCallMeWaffle September 3, 2009 10:01 am

This movie is the reason I would go back to hand crafted robot models like the T-Rex in the first Jurassic park film. This CARTOON is a humiliation to CGI everywhere. It might as well be a pixar movie standing side by side with Mr. Incredible.

  5. TheyCallMeWaffle September 3, 2009 10:01 am

We got an ear full of how this new CGI would be so powerful that it would blow our minds, and literally trick us into thinking it has got to be real. How did you do it James Cameron? Oh please tell us James Cameron? Ive never seen anything like this before James Cameron? What is your secret James Cameron?

    Bah! Humbug!!!

  6. TheyCallMeWaffle September 3, 2009 10:01 am

What the heck was that! I thought this movie was supposed to be photorealistic. James Cameron got everybody exited about this AVATAR project, this incredible breakthrough film that would use CGI technology that has never been seen before.

  7. TheyCallMeWaffle September 3, 2009 10:01 am

I dont give a back side of a donkey what he did. James Cameron isnt the Immortal son of God. He’s human, and humans make mistakes. The proof is in the pudding. And this pudding smells like blue poopoo. This pudding is yesterdays technology. Gollum in Lord of the rings still tops everything Ive seen in terms of CGI.

why is his wheel chair in manual mode still?

  12. RowanTolley02 September 3, 2009 10:01 am

while these movie are great I still prefer something more subtle which has a more developed plot and script. Something like in the valley of elah or no country for old men… the aliens in this look crap as well.

THE FUTURE OF FILM MAKING WILL REMAIN GEORGE LUCAS’ ORIGINAL STAR WARS, wether we agree or not, they opened Pandoras box for future film making(special effects). Until we get the characters coming out of the screen or something similar, The First Released Star Wars will for ever remain the True “future” of film making. Dont mistake me, I love many cgi movies, I love them, but honesty is honesty, and George Lucas gave us what we now have, and will have for many years to come.

“andrewpg78″:I havent seen many bashings on this movie. Anyway, it looks totally amazing. Considering all movies made and what has been available, honestly, this is not the first of its kind(cgi), so no, this movie would not be the future of film making. Computer graphics have been there for more than 15 yrs, so wether fully or in part, there HAS been quite a few movies with amazing graphics out–Matrix, Star Wars, AI, The Myst, Speed Racer, Baewulf, Lost in Space, and others.

ok, I’m new to this whole Avatar thing. The movie looks like something I’m gonna wanna watch for sure, but I don’t understand something.. Who’s attacking who? Is it human vs these Avatar ppl? And if so, why does a human get an avatar’s body??

  17. cowlitssLOL September 3, 2009 10:01 am

well if it means you can finally walk after being in a wheelchair most of your life, i think you would

  18. ThePurposeProduction September 3, 2009 10:01 am

wow looks like a great film but i would never wake up an avatar and say “this is great!” cuz i’d freak out lol

  19. kylerayner01 September 3, 2009 10:01 am

Yeah I definately agree with “godihopethisnottaken” and I hope whatever music that is playing in the backround is on the soundtrack because that beat is HOT!!

  20. lhrciuaut9 September 3, 2009 10:01 am

    simply awesome.

  21. KajiCarson September 3, 2009 10:01 am

I hope you’re right. His Aliens was an absolute masterpieces, and still is. If this movie turns out to be even half as good as that one, it will be well worth watching.

  22. CKSBoltaction September 3, 2009 10:01 am

I get your point, but I am trying to imagine an alien with no limbs and being 3 sexes who does not understand violence…

  23. CKSBoltaction September 3, 2009 10:01 am

This guy directed Aliens, T1 and T2, Titanic and many others, James cameron would not take on any project unless it was worth it. This movie will be great I am sure.

  24. andrewpg78 September 3, 2009 10:01 am

I am just amazed at all the clowns that are trashing this, and it doesn’t come out for another THREE MONTHS!!!
And probably the same idiots that liked G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra.
